JANICE’s women’s wool sweaters are a must-have every season. Thanks to its unique properties, this material keeps you warm on cold days. But did you know that wool also regulates temperature and moisture on warm days? So you can wear your wool sweater all year round. In addition, we use only hypoallergenic wool. These wool types don’t itch and are as soft as butter.
JANICE’s women’s wool sweaters are made from the softest hypoallergenic wool. Once you’ve fallen in love with a particular quality, you won’t want anything else. The entire launch of our wool collection took nearly a year. We wanted to work exclusively with the finest wool available, so you can enjoy these beautiful sweaters and cardigans for years to come. We’ve selected the softest and richest wool qualities from Italy. We work with cashmere, merino wool, and baby alpaca… we only choose the best for you!
The benefits of our lovely wool sweaters, in a nutshell:
Merino wool comes from the merino sheep. This breed of sheep is found in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Argentina, among other places. It is one of the oldest sheep breeds in the world, and the merino wool from these sheep is exceptionally soft.
You know the benefits of a regular wool sweater: nice and warm, soft, and insulating. But it often itches, and regular wool is also quite heavy. A merino wool women’s sweater or a sweater made of baby alpaca or cashmere offers the same benefits, but without the drawbacks. So it’s not a difficult choice.
You can pair wool sweaters and cardigans with almost anything. A beautiful wool sweater over leather pants, skinny jeans, or a silk skirt. On cold days, layer an oversized knit over your long viscose dress, cinched at the waist with a belt. Or how about a chunky wool sweater over a short skirt with high boots… you’ll steal the show!
The wool products you’ll find here are made fairly and sustainably. A wool sweater is usually made from mulesing-free wool. That means the wool is sourced from sheep that are treated humanely. We also pay close attention to a production process that protects the environment and respects workers.
