JANICE’s fit is designed for Western European women, and therefore certainly for Dutch women. We take into account the fact that women here are significantly taller than, for example, in Italy. We not only adapt the fit of JANICE to this market when designing the patterns, but we also always look for materials with stretch.
For example, the lining of all our coats, blazers, and cardigans has stretch, we work with silk that also contains elastane, and we even use viscose with stretch. By adding stretch, we simply give our clothing a wider range of fit.
Over the years, we have developed a number of Icons. Styles that appear in the collection every season as a recognizable signature. The fits of these pieces have already been approved; they have already proven themselves. Our HANK blazer, George dress, jeans, Otis leather jacket, Luke blazer, and Curtis pants…etc.
These garments have a fit that has been well-received by many people. We’ve taken into account the materials, any stretch, and the prints. Because they return every season, we call them Icons.
