Who doesn’t have a woollen cardigan in their wardrobe? Women’s woollen cardigans are lovely to wear over a dress, blouse or shirt in winter, but they’re also very handy on a chilly summer’s evening instead of a coat. JANICE’s woollen cardigans are super-soft, hypoallergenic and don’t itch.
JANICE’s women’s woollen cardigans
A lovely warm, comfortable cardigan: an absolute must-have for autumn and winter. Treat yourself and order a JANICE cardigan in your favourite colour. This season, you’ll find two styles of warm cardigans in our collection: the Zack and the Parker. Both are made from wonderfully soft baby alpaca wool.
Styling a knitted cardigan
You can actually wear a knitted cardigan with just about anything, but we think it looks its best when paired with contrasting materials. Leather trousers or a silk skirt, for example.
At JANICE, you’ll find both long and short woollen cardigans this season. We think they both look great. You can pair a short or a long cardigan with a skirt. The same goes for trousers and dresses. So whether you choose a short or a long knitted cardigan is entirely up to you. Not sure? Then just think about what sort of winter coat you have. If your coat isn’t very long, a short cardigan might look better underneath it than a long one.
Green or blue cardigan
JANICE has a number of popular cardigans that regularly feature in the collection. This season, those are the Zack and the Parker. Both are available in green and blue. Our blue cardigan is particularly popular: it’s a beautiful, striking shade of blue that actually pairs perfectly with any other colour. Wear a blue cardigan over black leather trousers with a white T-shirt for a lovely contrast, or layer it over one of our blue dresses. We’ve put together a few lovely
outfits for you.
Alpaca wool cardigan
Our knitted cardigans are made from baby alpaca wool. Alpaca is one of the most luxurious types of wool in existence, comparable to mohair and cashmere. It is a very fine fibre made from the extremely soft and fine hairs of the alpaca. The alpaca is related to the llama and is found in the Andes. The alpaca we use comes directly from Peru. Alpaca is a soft, smooth but, above all, very strong fibre. The best thing is that alpaca hair doesn’t prick and is gentle on the skin.
Incidentally, it’s important to know that baby alpaca wool does not come from baby alpacas. The name simply refers to the fineness of the yarn.
